This is Inova Loudoun Hospitals FAMOUS mascot, the beautiful Mama Cat! Mama was born on the grounds of the hospital campus, and spent 11 years patrolling the area and greeting all the hospital employees who used the back entrance. She started out a feral kitty, but as the years went by she decided she loved people and wanted to be with them all the time. She would always flop on the ground in front you, asking for belly rubs and pats on the head. She likes men but she really LOVES women, most likely because most of the hospital workers are ladies. She adores being brushed, playing with her feather toy, craves attention from her people companions, but doesnt quite like to be picked up. Everything else is fine and dandy by her, though! At the age of 11, the hospital decided to retire her from outdoor life and now she is looking for a forever home. She has been fostered for the last six months and uses the litterbox 100% of the time. She is extremely intelligent, and quickly realized what she was supposed to do once indoors. She now believes that living on cushions and sunning herself in the window was what she was born to do. She would be an excellent companion for an older couple or a single woman, and as an added bonus, she has lifetime vet care* pledged to her by her former caretaker at the hospital. She is in excellent health, just having had a checkup and all vaccines in Jan 09. *within reason
