Spaniel - Medium - Young - Male - Dog - Monty Hall
Description
Monty was dumped at Marshall Hall Federal Park two summer s ago as a puppy. He and his littermates had been fending for themselves, begging for food from tourists for almost a year. Although he was totally feral, a very nice caring lady who would not give up on him was finally able to trap him and some of his litter mates. Monty was so terrified of humans that nobody was able to get close to him or touch him for some time. Vet care, good food, and love have brought him quite a ways but he still needs some work. Monty is still learning to trust people. Altough he loves and trusts his foster mom and has learned to trust many people at the dog park, it will take some time for him to learn to trust others. Monty is great with other dogs and always looks forward to his time spent at the dog park. He really needs someone who is patient and understanding, who has time to work with him and to show him that some people can be trusted.
