Her short life nearly came to an end that day, but luck was with her at last when rescuers found her and brought her to safety. Hailey has grown strong and healthy since then in the foster care of a professional trainer. “One of the most superbly trained dogs I’ve ever seen” says the director of her rescue organization. While awaiting her forever home Hailey has gone far past the training the average dog receives for everyday life and has even learned search and rescue procedure. An outgoing dog, her sweet and loving nature shows itself daily. She is a wonderful people dog, waiting eagerly for the touch of a human hand. She can be jealous if another dog is getting attention, so she would like to be an only dog, and cats are not high on her list as friends. Already spayed and wanting to love her own family forever, Hailey doesn’t understand why she has watched so many other Katrina dogs find homes and she has been left behind. Each day she watches and waits for her very own person , her perfect manners on display, hope in her eyes.
